Assistant Account Executive, Life Sciences

The Kinetix Group is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Assistant Account Executive to join our New York team. Working in a cross-functional capacity, this role will marketing program development for one of our pharmaceutical clients. The ideal candidate is friendly, enjoys creative challenges, is a model of productivity and detail-orientation, and thrives in entrepreneurial environments where his/her actions have significant impact on the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and use timelines to meet client deadlines
  • Understand project workflow
  • Liaise with freelancers and vendor as necessary
  • Proactively work with internal stakeholders to ensure the projects are delivered on time
  • Ensure appropriate use of email and voicemail to communicate status within and outside the organization
  • Maintain highly organized digital archives of internal versions and client versions of multiple projects
  • Maintain understanding of ongoing projects and client submission needs to navigate projects through internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and alert proper team members of potential issues, and provide recommendations and possible solutions to assigned projects
  • Create an integrated, effective and accountable team environment that fosters a solid support structure
  • Participate in internal status meetings

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a self-directed, creative, detail-oriented team player with strong time management skills who can thrive in a challenging, fast-paced work environment. Familiarity with electronic submission systems for pharmaceutical companies, such as Tempo, Zinc and eMap, is a plus. Other requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of pharma/medical marketing, project management or related experience; preferably in a healthcare industry setting
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with an entrepreneurial bias to action
  • Self-starter that can work efficiently both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, implement, complete and evaluate effectiveness of projects
  • Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Working knowledge of Twitter, LinkedIn, MailChimp
  • Ability to work with minimal oversight, to be decisive and diplomatic
  • Ability to maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, demanding work environment with the potential for after hours work and occasional business travel
