Pharmaceutical Marketing Manager – Market Access and Payer Segment

Job Description and Responsibilities:

The Kinetix Group is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Manager to join our team on a full-time basis with expertise in the pharmaceutical market access and payer strategy segment. This person will oversee day-to-day activities of the programs they manage. He or she will be expected to be the primary client contact for projects and work streams.

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of professional experience
  • Prior experience in Pharma/Healthcare Marketing/Advertising is required
  • Experience in Managed Markets/Payer Marketing is required.

Relevant skills include:

  • Product pre-launch, launch, and post-launch strategy
  • Development of pull-through strategy and execution
  • Development of payer value proposition messaging
  • Analysis and implications of competitive landscape intelligence
  • Experience in coding and reimbursement policy
  • Ability to digest and translate information into deliverables
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and team work in a fast-paced, demanding work environment with the potential of late nights, weekend time, and business travel
  • Proactive team player with the ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work with minimal oversight, and be decisive and diplomatic
  • Capacity to work under stress and manage tight deadlines
  • Outstanding organization, communication, and presentation skills
  • Team oriented
  • Driven to learn


  • Understand marked access and payer client business needs as well as the changes within Healthcare/ Pharmaceutical landscape
  • Serve as a primary client contact and provide
  • Actively assess and analyze current payer market trends
  • Set and manage timelines ensuring quality deliverables are provided appropriately
  • Delegate work to internal team members
  • Actively manage internal and external expectations through efficient and effective communication
  • Support program planning and strategic development
  • Assist in P & L oversight and budget management
  • Support new business development meetings
